Recently I received a package from Guhl with four beautiful products from the Tiefen Aufbau line. In English that basically means Deep Repair line, and in Dutch the line is called the ‘’Rijke Voeding’’ line. The Guhl Tiefen Aufbau line is for people with brittle or damaged hair and promises immediately healthier and more supple hair because of the monoi oil in it. Monoi oil is obtained from soaking the petals of the Tahitian Tiaré flower in coconut oil. Apparently this little wonder ingredient strengthens the hair on the inside and the on the outside from roots to end, with as a result up to 94% less breakage.
Sounds promising, right? I thought so. But here’s my ‘’problem’’: my hair is quite healthy and is in pretty good shape. So will my healthy locks benefit from a repairing hair care line like the Guhl’s Tiefen Aufbau line? Also, my hair is very fine and thin. Won’t these rich oil-based products make my hair flat and limp? As you may have read, lately I have been avoiding rich hair care products like these because they can weigh fine hair down…
But I am going to give it a try anyway. Why? Well, the Guhl Tiefen Aufbau products do not only promise better-looking and healthier hair, but also promise to repair and prevent split ends. And that’s exactly what I need. When I still lived in Belgium, I had the ends of my hair trimmed every few weeks, but here I haven’t gotten around to it yet. And it’s been over two months. Oops. It’s mainly due to a lack of time, but also because I don’t feel like trusting my hair to another hair dresser than my awesome (and unfortunately Belgian) hair dresser. Also, getting a haircut is ridiculously expensive here.
But anyway, I shouldn’t be making excuses, so let’s go back to what this is really about. About four weeks after my last haircut in Belgium I started noticing split ends and it’s time to do something about it. So I am going to get a haircut and then get to work with my new Guhl Tiefen Aufbau products. I can’t wait to see if the Guhl products will live up to the expectations and if they will be able to keep my hair split-free. In a few weeks I will give you a full review of all the products, but if you already want to learn more about Guhl and the Tiefen Aufbau line you can just visit the Guhl website.
Have you tried the Guhl Tiefen Aufbau line yet?
