For the spring and summer of 2013 Revlon has launched a brand new collection called Pacific Coast. The collection is characterized by rich and dynamic colors that create a relaxed summery ocean vibe. I want my dear readers to be perfectly informed before they make a purchase of course, so I tested the whole collection for you guys. How selfless of me ;-) Get your beach chair out, slap on some sunscreen, put on those shades, and have a look at the new Revlon Pacific Coast collection with me!

Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow in Free Spirit & Sea Mist

For the Pacific Coast collection Revlon created two new eyeshadow quads: Free Spirit and Sea Mist. The colors in both palettes are inspired by those of the sea. In the Free Spirit palette you find three blues and a sandy beige that you’d see at the beach during the day. And in the Sea Mist palette you find the deeper shades of a sunset or sunrise at the beach.

I am very impressed with both quads. I like the two color combinations and with both palettes you can create a captivating ‘deep sea’ look. A bit of a sultry mermaid look, actually. Think Ariel gone sexy ;-) The pigmentation of the eyeshadow is good, there is no fall-out whatsoever and the eyeshadow applies nice and evenly. Great!

Revlon ColorBurst Lipbutter in Pink Lemonade, Juicy Papaya, Sorbet and Wild Watermelon

For the new spring and summer collection Revlon added four new shades of lip butter to the existing lip butter collection: Pink Lemonade (nude soft pink), Juicy Papaya (trendy peachy pink), Sorbet (sexy raspberry red) and Wild Watermelon (vibrant watermelon red).

I was already a fan of the existing Revlon ColorBurst Lipbutters and the addition of four new shades only adds to my enthusiasm. The texture of the lip butters is deliciously creamy and nourishing. The Revlon ColorBurst Lipbutters look like lipstick but feel and work like a lip balm. I love that. Pink Lemonade is probably my least favorite one out of all four new colors, but I really like the other three shades a lot. I especially like Wild Watermelon. This shade has already conquered a spot on my current favorites list!

Revlon Nail Enamel in Pink Nude, Fashionista, Gray Suede and One Perfect Coral

Revlon used two existing and two new shades of Nail Enamel in the Pacific Coast collection. The two existing colors are Pink Nude (soft pink) and Fashionista (deep sea blue). The new colors are Gray Suede, a classy nude beige, and One Perfect Coral, a gorgeous coral shade.

All four nail lacquers are easy to apply and have great coverage. Out of all four shades I like the two new ones the most. I especially like One Perfect Coral. I really have a soft spot for corals and warm reds, and I think that One Perfect Coral might just become my new summer sweetheart :-)

    Candy, love and the city!

  4. I’m not sure about the quads for my green eyes but they look amazing on you! Love Juicy Papaya & will probably pick one up as well as One Perfect Coral n/p, so pretty!

  7. Its a beautiful collection and you did a complete and interesting review as always! Love the quads, the shades are so cool and love the make up look you created! In particular I’d love to get a lipstick, the Pink Lemonade one!:) Happy Sunday! KisseS! xo

  8. Oh wow, lucky you, girl! It’s kinda tricky to find Revlon in Belgium, and I’m not sure if we receive new collections so promptly! I’m super intrigued by Sea Mist. The Lip Butters have piqued my interest as well! Revlon has really been upping their game!

  10. Wat maak jij mooi je ogen op!! Als ik dat doe, zie ik er uit als een spook hahah.
De nagellak is ook heel mooi, de blauwe en rode zijn mijn favorieten!
Mooi merk, ken het eigenlijk niet echt

  11. Love the blue shadows on you! I think I like the Free Spirit best, and watermelon is my favorite of the lip shades.

  12. Love the eye looks you created! “Ariel gone sexy”! You’re the best, Melissa! Pink Lemonade is my least favorite, too – it’s just so light that it’s almost not worth bothering, ya know?! Like I’d rather just wear actual lip balm at that point! Thanks for swatching everything! You are the bomb! Love from Georgia!

  13. Love the blues in the first shadow palette, and the 3rd and 4th lippies – great shades! I have a weird thing against the Lip Butters but I really need to give them another shot!

  14. die pink nude nagellak is echt top! Die lipbutters zou ik ook echt graag proberen.
Ik heb zelf geen make-up van revlon. Het is niet echt gemakkelijk te vingen in België…
enige tips waar ik terecht kan?
