Creating intricate nail arts isn’t my forte. Working with stencils or nail stamps is fine, but neatly free-handing something creative on my nails without making a mess? Virtually impossible for me. That’s why I prefer doing easy, fool-proof manicures. I’ve learned that things like tape, a sponge or a dotting tool will already get you pretty far. Or just a simple piece of decorative wrapping mesh, like this here:
With this mesh and six new ANNY nail polish trend colors I created this quick and easy-to-do nail art:
I think it looks pretty cool, this textured slash drippy effect. And it’s really easy to do. I just painted my nails and let them dry, then put some nail polish on the mesh, dabbed it on my nails, and done. I made three variations of the same nail art using six new ANNY nail polishes: The Devil Reads Red (dark orangey red), The Dragon Lady (dark purple), Red Fashion Revenge (warm red), Bloody Return (burgundy purple), Die For High Heels (classic pure red) and Deep Black Chief (black). These six new ANNY nail lacquers are all exclusively available at Marionnaud for 12.90 CHF each.
For my first nail art I used Deep Black Chief together with The Devil Reads Red. Then I used Bloody Return with Die For High Heels. And the third time I combined The Dragon Lady with Red Fashion Revenge it.
What do you think of this quick and easy nail art? Is it do or don’t for you?
