Make-up look | Winter-inspired snow & ice make-up

I don’t know what the situation is over there, but here in Switzerland it’s been really COLD lately! Temperatures keep dropping and every day I need to put on more and more layers to stay warm. I really don’t like the cold (does anyone?) but I do love snow, and winter definitely has its charm. And the winter season is also a great source of inspiration, because today’s make-up look is based on the cool icy colors and nuances of snow, frost and ice. So that means this time I’m not doing anything dark or colorful, but instead I’m going for wintry white, silver and blue!

This more or less sums up how cold it’s been lately…

What do you think of my icy make-up look? Do you like winter?

  1. Its been abnormally cold here too.. and my make up is also inspired by it: blue toned pinky cheeks and lipgloss, light smokey eyes :) I love your icy look . ANd thanks for the cute penguins xx

  2. Mooie look! Prachtig!

  3. You look fab:) Really loving the eye makeup. And OMG! It’s the same over here in Canada, although it’s probably a tad colder there…sigh…good that you like snow:D

  4. Eeeee, penguins! I love the snow queen look you put together here – makes me want to pull out all of my silvery eye shadows. Okay, maybe I only have one, lol!

  6. You look GORGEOUS, Melissa! There is a colour that does not suit your beauiful eyes? haha, I love it, it reminds me I want to go see the new Disney movie “Frozen” (need to find a good excuse to see children movies :P) you really look like the Snow Queen <3

  7. I’m exactly like you – I’m not too excited about the cold, but I LOVE snow. Can’t wait to go skiing.:) Great look, babe, whiter white and silvery blues suit you!!

  8. ohhh I hope it gets a bit warmer for you over there!
Your makeup look is very pretty and reminds me of an ice princess! The fur coat you have on adds to this icy look!

  9. Naaaw, pingu’s! <3 Ubercute. :) Mooie combinatie.

  10. So pretty! I love your icy eyes! :) I really don’t love cold weather, either. I like fall the best because it’s cool enough for scarves and long sleeves and boots, but a coat isn’t necessary!
