Just a few more weeks and it’s spring again, woohoo! I don’t know about you, but I’m waiting for March 21 with such open arms that I’m slowly starting to get muscle cramps. And I think that the people at Clinique feel the same way, because their new spring collection for 2014 looks absolutely amazing. Have a look!
Clinique Cheek Pop blush in Berry Pop
I really fell in love at first press release with the new Clinique Cheek Pop blushes, and they all went on my wish list even before they were actually launched. In the meantime the Cheek Pops have hit the stores and I’ve become the proud owner of Berry Pop, a bright pink shade with somewhat cool undertones and a lovely satin finish. The texture of the Clinique Cheek Pop blush is incredibly soft and blendable – almost like a cream blush – and the color is intensely pigmented and longlasting. Do we have a winner? Oh yes we do! Berry Pop is an absolute keeper, and there’s a big chance that next time I’m at the Clinique counter I’ll pick up another Cheek Pop blush*!

Clinique Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony
I like tinted lip balms, and I love it when they come in jumbo pencil form like the Clinique Chubby Sticks do. Pudgy Peony is a lovely fuchsia pink shade with a soft sheen, and I rrreally dig the color and the finish. I only wish the formula was a bit more moisturizing. The mango and shea butter in the Clinique Chubby Sticks are supposed to intensely hydrate the lips, but my very dry lips seem to need more. For people with less high-maintenance lips the Chubby Sticks might be moisturizing enough, but for me the formula could have been just a tad more buttery.
Retail price: 29 CHF, available in four new spring shades.
Clinique A Different Nail Enamel in Hi Sweetie
The very first Clinique A Different Nail Enamel nail polish that I tried left me very impressed, and the new bright pink color Hi Sweetie doesn’t disappoint either. The nail polish is a dream to apply, it provides perfect coverage in just one coat, and it last about four to five days on me without chipping and with minimal tip wear. And the Clinique A Different Nail Enamel nail lacquers are all completely hypoallergenic, which is a nice plus especially if you’re sensitive or allergic to certain chemicals in traditional nail polish.
Retail price: 26 CHF, available in four new spring shades.

Pretty spring appropriate, right? One thing is for sure: I am more than ready for it!
