Just a few more weeks and it’s spring again, woohoo! I don’t know about you, but I’m waiting for March 21 with such open arms that I’m slowly starting to get muscle cramps. And I think that the people at Clinique feel the same way, because their new spring collection for 2014 looks absolutely amazing. Have a look!

Clinique Cheek Pop blush in Berry Pop

I really fell in love at first press release with the new Clinique Cheek Pop blushes, and they all went on my wish list even before they were actually launched. In the meantime the Cheek Pops have hit the stores and I’ve become the proud owner of Berry Pop, a bright pink shade with somewhat cool undertones and a lovely satin finish. The texture of the Clinique Cheek Pop blush is incredibly soft and blendable – almost like a cream blush – and the color is intensely pigmented and longlasting. Do we have a winner? Oh yes we do! Berry Pop is an absolute keeper, and there’s a big chance that next time I’m at the Clinique counter I’ll pick up another Cheek Pop blush*!

Clinique Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony

I like tinted lip balms, and I love it when they come in jumbo pencil form like the Clinique Chubby Sticks do. Pudgy Peony is a lovely fuchsia pink shade with a soft sheen, and I rrreally dig the color and the finish. I only wish the formula was a bit more moisturizing. The mango and shea butter in the Clinique Chubby Sticks are supposed to intensely hydrate the lips, but my very dry lips seem to need more. For people with less high-maintenance lips the Chubby Sticks might be moisturizing enough, but for me the formula could have been just a tad more buttery.

Clinique A Different Nail Enamel in Hi Sweetie

The very first Clinique A Different Nail Enamel nail polish that I tried left me very impressed, and the new bright pink color Hi Sweetie doesn’t disappoint either. The nail polish is a dream to apply, it provides perfect coverage in just one coat, and it last about four to five days on me without chipping and with minimal tip wear. And the Clinique A Different Nail Enamel nail lacquers are all completely hypoallergenic, which is a nice plus especially if you’re sensitive or allergic to certain chemicals in traditional nail polish.

  1. De blush ziet er gewoon té leuk uit! Mooie kleurtjes allemaal :) Hier zie ik me de lente wel mee in gaan!

  2. Pudgy peoony looks a lot like revlon lip butter in sweet tart (which I happen to be wearing right now). But those blushes are so gorgeous. I was thinking of getting plum pop for myself. I also think the peach one would be equally as lovely on you.

  5. Oooh all super pretty on you! Love it! I still haven’t taken the plunge but every time I see these lovely blushes I swatch and swatch. I recently got a chubby in a GWP and I too was surprised at how little moisture it provided, could be due to the “intense” factor.

Ok now, enough of winter, spring get over here!!! *taps foot*

  6. Ahhh you GIVE ME SOME OF THAT NOW!!! I heard it’s April here, but I’m hoping it’ll turn out to be the end of March as well. Everything is so dang pretty!

  7. Die blush ziet er echt geweldig uit met dat bloemenpatroontje! En een hele look met roze in de hoofdrol is blijkbaar lekker fleurig en doet denken aan de lente!

  8. Aww the blush is so pretty, both the shade and the packaging :) I never tried any Clinique makeup before ;) Also thanks for your last comment. The lashes were quite tricky at the beginning but at the end I didn’t even feel them anymore ;)
    xx

  9. absolutely gorgeous look! love the nails and lips most thanks for sharing this look along with your review gives me a better idea of how the products perform def. need to get my hands on those! xx. gigi.

  10. The blush is such a pretty colour, love it, you look beautiful in this photo hun, stunning lip hue. I think Gaga’s dress was sculpted in that way thats why it made her look larger on the hips. Its always great hearing from you hun.

    • Aw, thanks Karen! I have very full eyebrows naturally (I actually have a big bushy unibrow if I don’t do daily maintenance on them) but I fill them in a bit with e.l.f. eyebrow powder and then use a little clear gel to keep all the hairs in place.

  11. I’ve just passed by the clinique counter today and the bright pinks caught my eye. The whole collection looks amazing! I need to try the blushes… love the colour :-)

  12. I am obsessed with Clinique products. It doesnt break me out, they have colirs foy skin tone…it just works. The chubbies are my favorite lip colors.

  13. Such a lovely look on you! I saw the new pop blushes at Sephora this weekend, and now I’m kicking myself a bit for not picking one (or two!) up! :)

  14. I got the chubby stick, I used it only once and I love it. I have dry lips as well but I found the Clinique tinted lip balms lasted longer than the other I’ve tried.

  15. I love the Clinique chubby sticks so I’m definitely going to pick up some of the new colors! I hope they come out with some other shades rather than just pinky tones! xx

I love your comments!
