I use anti-cellulite creams all year round in the hopes of one day getting completely and perfectly smooth skin on my bum and thighs – a girl can dream – and when summer is around the corner I rrreally go into full anti-cellulite mode. My orange peel skin killer of the moment? The new Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Oil. Let’s have a closer look.
The Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Oil is a vitalizing body oil with extract of lemon peel, lemongrass, mistletoe and jojoba oil that claims to firm, tone and refresh the skin. The oil comes in a pretty – and very practical – glass pump bottle and has a yellow color. The texture is thick and greasy and it looks and feels a lot like olive oil. And the smell? Deeeeeeeelicious! I’ve always been a fan of citrus-scented beauty products, so the Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Oil is real winner for me. Massaging your bum and thighs every day isn’t exactly something to look forward to, but thanks to the delicious zesty smell of the Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Oil my obligatory massage moment has now become a more enjoyable me-time moment. Thanks, Dr. H!
I use the Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Oil after showering and I thoroughly massage it into the skin on my bum and thighs. No product can firm the skin – let alone zap cellulite – by just sitting on the surface, so you do have to put in a little effort and take the time to really massage the oil into your skin. But the texture of the Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Oil makes that job a piece of cake, because the oil really glides on smoothly and is just slippery enough to allow you to nicely knead the skin. And yet it doesn’t leave an oily film afterwards, which is great.

I’ve been using the Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Oil for a little over two weeks now and even though I don’t see any drastic chances – I never do with anti-cellulite products, because I mainly use them to keep my skin toned and smooth rather than to treat existing cellulite – I do notice that it leaves my skin feeling a lot softer than the Nivea anti-cellulite cream that I used before. Easy and pleasant to use, deliciously citrusy, and efficient in keeping the skin on my bum and thighs soft and smooth? Sold! Yep, this is a potential rebuy.
The Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Oil is available for 24 CHF.
