Wednesday my man and I hit the slopes again, this time in Glacier 3000. Since the weather was absolutely gorgeous I decided to bring my GoPro Hero 5 Black, attached to my awesome new Alpina Griva Visor helmet, to shoot some more on-piste footage. And I think that this time I managed to capture the sensation of speed a lot better. My first ski vlog of the season, even though I was going like a cannon ball, just felt so slow and it kind of bugged me. But in this second video I feel like the speed is coming across much more realistically. Just a quick FYI: because of the heavy snow fall the night before only a couple of pistes were prepped and we did most of our skiing off-piste on unprepped terrain. I didn’t want to risk losing or breaking my GoPro in the deep snow, so I didn’t film any of the risky bits and only shot action footage on the prepped parts. I did get some awesome off-piste panoramas for you guys though! And I even managed to capture a live avalanche!
Watch the video on YouTube for the best quality & remember to put the settings at 1080p HD
(YouTube upload compression always fucks up HD footage, so my apologies for the blurry action shots)
